Freshly tanned badger hides available in a variety of grades & sizes. Better grade badgers have some of the most beautiful fur in the world their exquisite blend of dark & pale markings is hard to top. Your badger may come tubed/cased or opened, if you prefer to have a tubed/cased hide please make a note of it and attach it to your order. Taxidermy mountable badgers (and other hides) with feet are occasionally offered, if not readily available in our online store please call for 406-563-7926 or email [email protected] for inquires on availability.

L-XXL 22"-28" and up
GRADES-
-Select #1's (BEST, top 5-10%)
-I&II's (Top 10-20%, Complete without damages or gradable flaws)
-SLTS (Slightly damaged, usually have one small flaw that is hard to notice with the untrained eye, such as a small hole in leather, slip spot (bald spot), rubbed fur and some may have partial or missing tails and/or damaged faces)
-III's (#3's - craft grade commonly have tears or holes and/or slip spots, or sometimes no damage just poor quality fur, most of our #3s are #1s that have taken on damage so there will still be a good amount of top quality usable fur to craft with)
COLOR- You can choose from Pale or Dark, but keep in mind not all hides are as pale or as dark as others may be. This option is to help us help you when we pick out your hide we can lean in one direction or the other depending on your color preference. There is typically more pale markings in the better grades and darker markings in the lower grades hence why the pale option may cost more than the dark option.
Variation Disclaimer - Please be aware that each type of fur has its own unique range of variations in color shades & overall look. Camera lighting can also slightly change how a product looks. Thanks to natural variations in wild fur no two hides will look identical.
